Stine Emil Thorbøll (b. 1990) is a Danish filmmaker. They hold a degree in Creative Communication from DMJX and have previously worked as a Creative Director in the music industry. As a filmmaker, they have directed several music videos for artists such as Brimheim, Scarlet Pleasure, Alex Vargas, Dejah Makar, and GRETA.

Stine Emil grew up in a small Danish town, near forests, the ocean, and the countryside. Their passion lies in exploring the unconventional and uncovering hidden beauty, with a core commitment to challenging stereotypes. Their inspiration often comes from music and sound, triggering instant visual ideas.

In their directorial pursuits, Stine Emil aims to tell important stories in collaboration with nice and talented people — and to have fun while doing it.
